enzolac Enzolac is a unique product that combines both the probiotic (a lactobacillus fermentation product) and live plant enzymes (Kreb Cycle) on a GMO free (genetically modified organisms) wheat carrier. Stalosan F is a safe, non-toxic powder, applied to animal housing, to help prevent infection and help improve the environment around animals in order to optimize health, growth and feed utilization.
Stalosan F is economical and easy to use; animals do not have to be removed during application.

Usage Directions:
Application:
  • 50 grams per square metre
  • 4.6 grams per square foot;
  • 1.6 oz. per 10.5 square feet
  • 1 lb. per 100 sq. ft. ~ All are comparable measure
Initial Application: Use StalosanF at 4.6 grams/sq.ft. daily for the first three days, and then apply once per week. Where a serious problem exists, StaIosan@F can be applied more frequently.
Typical Application With Bedding:
  1. Strip bedding and clean area.
  2. Apply StalosanF on the floor surface according to the required amount per surface area. Spread onto wet and damp areas and along the edges.
  3. Add bedding.
  4. Apply StalosanF on top of the bedding.
  5. Apply StalosanF on top of the bedding for the next three consecutive days.
  6. Apply StalosanF on top of the bedding once per week.
A 10' x 10' stall, for horses for example, will require only 1 pound of StalosanF per week.

As reported to the 9"International Congress in Animal Hygiene, August 17-21. 1997, held in Helsinki, Finland:
"By an adsorptive bond of the pathogens to the particles of the mineral-containing powder, Stalosan F in all probability causes a strong reduction of the number of germs (germ dilution) in the suspensions and on the surfaces of animal houses. The combination of the germ-reducing effect with the effects of absorption of moisture and the reduction of ammonia emission from the surfaces of animal housing qualifies Stalosan F as a highly valuable hygiene product."

Nitrogen is the macronutrient taken up most by plants. It is for instance, a part of the protein and the chlorophyll of the plants. A good supply of nitrogen in balance with other nutrients leads to strong vegetative growth. In recent times, an increased nitrogen deposition, due to atmospheric ammonium sulfate has been detected. In some areas of the world, the nitrogen deposition has increased so much that nitrogen saturation has occurred. A symptom of nitrogen saturation is the increased nitrate leaching from the land. This nitrogen deposition can be made up of nitrogen oxides and ammonia. Different combustion processes in motor vehicles and in energy production contribute to most of the nitrogen oxides, while animal manure is the main source of ammonia, with a breakdown of ammonia emissions divided between animal buildings, manure storage's and manure spreading. The emissions of ammonia from manure contributes substantially to environmental pollution and causes acidification. Different additives have been developed to reduce animal ammonia emissions. For one study, conducted by Mats Andersson, research assistant at the Division of Buildings-, Energy-, and Environmental Technology, in conjunction with the Department of Agriculture Biosystems and Technology, Sweden, and supported financially by the National Board of Agriculture, Sweden, Stalosan F was one of several additives tested for the reduction of ammonia emissions. The results were:

"One day after the application of the additive to the slurry sample, the treatment with Stalosan F resulted in lower ammonia emissions than from the control (p>O.OOI). The emission from the slurry treated with Stalosan F was 50% lower than from the untreated." This was the best result of all the additives analyzed in the study, beating the second place additive by 10%!

"One week after the application of the additive, the Stalosan F treatment resulted in 60% lower emission than from the untreated slurries (p<0.001) This again was the best result shown, beating the second place additive by a 20% difference!

"Six weeks after the application of the additives, Stalosan F still reduced the ammonia emission compared with the emission from the untreated slurries (p<0.05) The approximate reduction was 30%." All other additives tested emitted ammonia at the same rate as the control!

"For the past 16 years that I have worked with the Youth Beef Breed and Commercial Heifer Show at the Florida Strawberry Festival, we have always experienced a problem with excessive odour in our livestock and show tents. In the past we have attempted many times to remedy this situation using a variety of lime products in different strengths and combinations, much to our dismay we continued to receive complaints from participators and visitors about odour's. This year we tried Stalosan F. To everyone's surprise we were amazed at the results. There was no ammonia odour in any of the tents this year and the manure smell was minimal. Stalosan F was easy to apply and did an outstanding job of keeping odour away. I would highly recommend this product to anyone addressing odour situations, housing animals."

Swine:
Stalosan F is spread under the sow and where the piglets reside and sleep. It is very important to spread Stalosan F where there is moisture or dampness close to feed and water. Deep litter can also be treated with Stalosan F. Slatted floors should also be treated.

Cows:
For cows, Stalosan F should be spread where the cows are lying, especially under the udder and on moist and damp areas. Stalosan F can be used in cubicles and loose housing. In deep bedding Stalosan F should be spread twice weekly directly onto the existing bedding. In calving boxes, Stalosan F should be spread all over the floor.

Chickens, Turkeys:
Stalosan F is suitable for laying hens, broilers, turkeys and pheasants. Spread Stalosan F all over the existing bedding in the bird's housing, and onto wet or damp areas. When new chicks or hens are entering, spread Stalosan F all over placement.

Horses:
In horse stables, Stalosan F should be spread, at least once a week, all over the floor and onto wet and damp areas and along the edges.

Stalosan F reduces high ammonia levels in the stable and reduces the number of fly larvae.

Sheep:
Stalosan F should be spread directly unto the straw. It is very important in lambing pens when the ewe is lambing. Stalosan F reduces high ammonia levels in the sheds and maintains a dry environment.
